On Sunday night, our son was sitting next to me on the couch, and he asked if we could play cars. He then handed me a purple one, and told me it was the pretty one. I thanked him, and he then showed me the yellow truck that he was going to play with.
"Mommy, this one is cool. Yours can't be cool 'cuz you're old."

A friend of mine just gave us a Barbie plane. I feel like our kids are still a little young for the Barbie scene, but I figured they'd have fun with the big plane. There was 1 doll with it, and I picked up a cheapie Ken doll, just so that our son would have a guy to play with when he wanted to play alongside his sister. Well, I pulled this stuff out for the first time yesterday.
After playing for about five minutes, I noticed our son had already taken the clothes off the dolls. I told him to put them back on, and he replied, "But Mom, thems aren't cold!" I sort of laughed and said I knew that, but that he still needed to put their clothes back on. After he had one "reassembled" and was working on the second, I asked if it was fun to put their clothes on. His response? "No, it was more fun to take them off."
